Are you one of the many MANY people who make goals on New Years Day but they always seem to fall through?
Below I have listed a few ways to ensure success whilst reaching for your fitness goals.
1) Firstly, make your goals ACHIEVABLE! Don't set goals that you will never be able to reach but don't make them to easy; push yourself.
2) Make the goal CLEAR - set a date you want to achieve it by. For example, 'Be able to do 3 pull ups by March'
3) ROUTINE - push through the beginning stages and as it becomes an everyday habitat it will become much easier
4) Quit the EXCUSES - words mean nothing, actions means everything. Stop saying what you want and get up and go get it.
5) Focus on NOW - its easy to become overwhelmed if you think into the future too far. Focus on achieving something each day that will get you closer to your goal.
6) Create a PLAN - every goal needs a plan. Write down exactly how you plan to achieve your goal, it will make it much easier to follow if you know how to get there.
7) Commit to seeing RESULTS - hard work = results. The harder you work at something the better the results. Once you start seeing results it will be much easier to stick at it.
Hope this helps you to reach your NEW YEAR GOALS! If you need help with a workout plan or macro package contact me at [email protected]
