One of my favourite delt exercises is the DB lateral raise but today I decided to do a seated DB lateral raise. I found it very effective as you have to really focus on keeping your core tight and resulted in a more focused shoulder workout. As today was high rep I did 18-20 for 4 sets.
Another favourite of mine is the DB or BB front raise, and again today I decided to do these seated. I positioned the bench as if I was doing incline chest press but then proceeded to do DB front raises. These are harder than they look and definitely isolate the shoulders. Again I did 18-20 for 4 sets.
These are 2 great exercises but it is important to switch up how you preform them as your muscles adapt very quickly. Change things up to see faster progress.
