1) Do you share your recipes?
Yes I do most of the time, They are usually posted in the comments on my IG or on my blog
2) Do you still treat yourself even though some treat foods aren't Paleo?
I'm kinda at the stage were I don't look at foods as treat foods or healthy foods, Paleo has really helped me with this. I simply look at food in a different way. I eat to fuel my body to its maximum potential. My stomach is VERY sensitive to dairy and grains and I'm allergic to gluten so I feel very unwell after what you would call a treat food. On my birthday for example, I went out for dinner and just ordered what I wanted (still gluten free) but I did suffer the next day. So for me its not worth it to have these foods regularly.
3) How is paleo going? and what do you think about christmas and paleo, and how to combine them?
Paleo is going great. It has taught me so much about myself, I have a lot more energy and I am so much more relaxed around food. For me Christmas Dinner is pretty much paleo anyway as we usually have seafood for starter, butternut squash soup, then for main course we have turkey, sweet potato, veggies etcc and then I will make a paleo dessert. I can't eat a lot of Christmas food anyway due to being coeliac so its not much different for me.
4) Do you use IIFYM or count cals?
No I don't, read my previous blog on IIFYM.
5) How many days do you train before having a rest day?
I don't have a workout schedule I listen to my body and when it tells me I need a rest day, then I take a rest day. Working out is my passion, its my 'me' time, I only take rest days when I need them.
6) 5 top tips for keeping diet on point/consistent?
Firstly I loved this question! All the information I get asked about me is kind of irrelevant as everyone is different, however this question asks how what I do can help you. So thanks.
1 - Enjoy the meals you make, if you don't like chicken and spinach, don't eat it. There are plenty of other ways to get the nutrients you need.
2 - Take time to appreciate your food. Every meal should be savoured, not blotted down.
3 - Don't make rules. If you want extra chicken, sweet potato, nuts, veggies etc with your meal then have them. Listen to what your body is asking for, its probably right.
4 - Don't plan too far ahead - I used to plan out all my meals for the day, however now I just wait and see what I fancy when Im making it.
5 - Meal prep - A few days a week I take time to cook batches of squash, turnip etc. It saves a lot of time during the busy week days and is hassle free when your tired or busy.
7) How many calories do you eat?
I don't count
8) Your thoughts on macros?
See my previous blog on IIFYM
9) What made you want to start working out?
I began working out when recovering from anorexia, it gave my mind another focus and then I fell in love with it.
10) How much water do you drink?
If your thirsty drink, if your not then your probably drink enough. You don't need to be overly concerned the amount of water your drink, surely you have better things to worry about lol.
11) Are you physically hungry for everything you eat or is it mental? Do you get bloated? Should you still eat when bloated?
No, Im not always hungry when I eat but I know how much food my body needs so I eat anyway.
I very very rarely get bloated since going Paleo. I used to be bloated 24/7. Yes you should still eat when bloated, your body still needs the same amount of calories to function.
12) How old are you? You are amazing! How tall are you? What is your goal with your training? Keep it up beautiful!
First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Thats very kind. Im 19 years old. Im 5 foot 6 inches. Currently my goal is to sculpt my body further ( particularly my shoulders, back and gluteus) whilst training for the marathon in May. Im very interested in building more red muscle fibres and increasing my endurance.
